of course you shouldn't oil the barrel. follow the insturctions in the manual. I am not a moron.

Don't forget the air/CO2 part. CO2 is prone to spikes (shoot 285, then 295, down to 275 and so on). Air will not give you this problem, as it will shoot a constant velocity. I've noticed that shooting my Tippy 98 versus ions and stuff. My Palmers stabilzer this sunday should fix the problem I think.

no flatlines kick its fun watching ppl with the $1000 guns wasteing all there paint and watching it roll past your feet then nailing them in the chest
