Broke my power valve during upgrade

during an upgrade for my 98c adding an expansion chamber i broke my power valve well i didnt exactly break it but i stripped the threads in it to screw it bak in which really sucked i thought i got through the hard stuff took alot of work with the screws and whatnot so i was mad when i thought i was done and just puttin it together to find out it was damaged luckily there sendin another power valve but do u think i can still play with 1 screw holding the power valve in for now it seems to be fine right now

it will probably elongate the one hole in the marker half that the screw is in. i wouldn't do it

I've had one screw for about......3 months  and nothing has happened

Using a single valve bolt will just tear out the threads on the non-damaged hole.

But if theyre sending a new valve, i guess it doesnt really matter.

it will? cause ive been running w/o 1 for a while

If you still have the other bolt for the valve, Try putting teflon tape on the threads.  Perhaps an inch and a half long, and fold it in half lengthwise.  I had the same problem, and am getting a new valve as well, but in the meantime I did this quick fix, and the bolt is in there as tight as it normally would be.
