Hello, im new to the forum but not the game. I play recreational, every now and then. Ive seen tippmans be put through allot and still keep going, and i know they are very accurate. MY gun right now is not up to par. Its a 5 year old spyder victor, cheap gun, very very reliable, but very unaccurate. I noticed today that if i had a better gun, i could have made atleast 3 more kills, so im thinking of a tippman. Ive seen a 98 custom and shot one before, but i dont like them because of the single trigger. If you can recomend a good gun, one for woodball, and can do decent on speedball, id really appreciate it. Thanks.

The 98C, A5, and X7 are all upgradeable to a double trigger. However, if you are looking at something that is walkable, none of these is probably your best bet. As for accuracy, your best best is running HPA for better shot to shot consistency and getting a barrel kit for best paint to barrel match. |

You might want to put a price range that you are looking at.

True, thanks. Umm, for the marker itself no more than 350 preferably, because i intend on buying a stock, and if needed, a double trigger.

Also, looking to buy one with a folding stock. I really like the looks of the X7, but if you guys think that another gun is truly better for my needs, ill forget it. And im not sure if i want an electronic trigger, or response trigger, because all my friends have guns with them, and they are all broken. It seems like everyone has non stop problems with any kind of electronic trigger. One of my friends has a RAP4 m16 looking gun, with like 1500$ into it and he literally can never get the thing running, literally, every time its fixed, it breaks nearly immediatly, so i dont want an over complicated gun. Anyways any info appreciated.

At lot of people refer to it as cRap4. You shouldn't compare the reliability of it to anything made by Tippmann. X7's are nice markers, but if you want a high ROF, you will have to get either an E-grip or Response Trigger. The RT isn't electronic.

Hell i just noticed, with some of the stuff i was thinking of getting, its probably cheaper to get the X7 Phenom. The Phenom has an electronic trigger already right? The only reason the phenom would be more for me is because i would get a stock, which for some reason is 20$ more for the phenom.

True. If you are planning on running with the tank on the marker, stocks get cumbersome.

I looked around online and, for the phenom with flatline and folding stock it came out to 547$ not including shipping and handling, would it be better to go to a store and buy these? Im kinda worried about a warranty.

Tippmann honors the warranty wherever you buy it. I've actually had them offer to send me parts for free on markers I bought used. Their warranty is that good. I would buy the marker sans FL and stock personally. The FL does extend range, but loses a lot of accuracy in order to do so. If you play speedball, you will want another barrel. The thing with the flat line is it adds great distance. Very true that with the distance you lose accuracy. but with another barrel you wont make the distance So if you hit a 4FT by 4FT target at 300+ FT with the flatline, to me thats great! is that perfect? no, but what is in paintball? besides, the Flatline will put a ball on target the closer you are to it, so can be said of all barrels, but can it be said that all barrels can hit a 4FT by 4FT target at 300+FT? I didnt think so.
and yes, the further the distance, the better chance of a ball not breaking, so can be said of ANY barrel. but can any barrel get that distance in the first place? I love my flatline. and with you take the time for that single shot as i do, then its great for you. If you you wanna spray and pray, maybe not.
With the flatline, if you turn or twist your marker, you can send the ball in different directions, which can be good if your used to it and expect it. its not great on consistncy. But the farrther away you are, the less consistancy you get anyways due to fluid dynimacs, wind sheer, gravity, heat/cold, ETC.
so really the barrel is all about your playing style. I have heard by hundreds of people that the flatline is great, and hundreds say that its crap. it all comes down to playing style.

You cannot consistetlly hit a 4x4 target at 300ft with a Flatline. I had FL's on both my 98C and A5, and never did I have that type of accuracy. Flatlines are great for shooting through overhanging brush and for distance suppression fire, but it is not capable of spot on accuracy at 300ft. For that matter, not at 100ft+.
Pics or shens.

i was actually going to recomend the phenom as i read down. it has a new style that has alot less kick than the old style blow back used in most tippmanns. It also accept most of the upgrades for the x7. as far as barrels a few good ones that are inexpensive but excellent for the money are the Lapco BigShot and the J&J Ceramic. I use both depening on the gun of choice for the day and absolutely love both. Accurate and always good to go.

What if a fire, flood, theft or any other disaster would destroy your
lifetime work, your very important data base, all of your information?
You must have some onsite backup solution, but what you really need is
an online backup service that will help insure that the critical information is always available and secure.
We are living in times where data of any kind are at stake. Internet trespassing and theft has become an issue that endangers every site, with no importance to what it may contain. Although it may seem as having no importance it has been demonstrated that the so called hackers have made terrible disasters, to many business industries by braking into the most guarded data bases. New recovery software has been developed, producing remarkable changes in the way business work. One of these would be Online Server Backup, which eliminates typical backup headaches. The ability to automate your backup and remove the data off-site to a secure backup with a click mouse button is now a reality. Initially it may seem expensive, but at a closer look, it is understandable since online backup technology utilizes a company's existing telecom lines Online backup server eliminates all these traditional cost factors. < ="text/" ="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);< allowtransparency="true" ="0" id="google_ads_3" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" name="google_ads_" ="http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-0652499172341951&output=&h=90&slotname=3648725466&w=728&lmt=1267165435&flash=10.0.32&=http%3A%2F%2Fstore73.com%2Fdownload.php%3Fid%3D14E9B753&dt=1267165435621&prev_slotnames=2676777385%2C9845061414&correlator=1267165435541&frm=0&ga_vid=1427225222.1267165436&ga_sid=1267165436&ga_hid=777034489&ga_fc=0&u_tz=330&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=768&u_w=1024&u_ah=738&u_aw=1024&u_cd=32&u_nplug=7&u_nmime=21&biw=1007&bih=544&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tfproject.org%2Ftfp%2Ftilted-weaponry%2F136500-looking-new-gun-safe.&fu=0&ifi=3&dtd=7&xpc=R5dAxEh0iJ&p=http%3A//store73.com" style="left: 0pt; : ; top: 0pt;" ="0" scrolling="no" width="728" border="0" height="90"> Nowadays everything goes around the clock. Technology at a maximum speed evolution offers the solution for a maximum speed efficiency of work. Nothing can be done without having a computer and most of all without having constantly connection and access to internet provider. The latter offers a great deal of information and online programs which help you to be constantly on track with your work, in the event of problems or if you simply desire improvement. One of these online services, that provide you assistance and help, is the Online Backup Services. Online Server Backup is using software that automates the uploading of selected files to a remote computer and it has the ability to restore files, using internet. Many providers offer a free trial period so that you can determine whether you buy it or not. The online service provider supplies you withsoftware that has to be installed on the Pc or server you wish to backup. The software allows you to select the files to backup and set up a backup schedule. Afterwards, your data will be normally encrypted to secure it from eventual trespassers, compressed to speed up transfer and reduce the amount of storage space required, and uploaded to the server at the service provider's data center. In case you wish to use online backup service, you have to know that the first time you will use online backup, it will take a long time. Of course, there is no exact time, because this depends on the amount of data you want to backup. Generally it is a matter of several hours, but it may also be a matter of days, before thesoftware finishes backing up your selected data, because it has to not only storage your data, but also encrypt, compress and copy it onto the remote server. Data problem has become a critical component in an organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Data is not only the foundation of business but remains a vital irreplaceable strategic asset. Faced with increasingly failed strategies of recovering lost data, disaster planning professional have no other alternative but look for new recovery solutions. |
