Thanks for all the feedback guys!  I personally like the candy colors the most, but all my friends seem to like the black chrome as well.  I would honestly like to know if you guys think my prices are reasonable/ridiculous, because I really wasn't sure what to charge.  Its a pretty labor intensive process to do it properly.

Yeah, the price for the removal is inflated due to the time, not the materials.  Plus I always get chemical burns .  But I think I will lower it.

A professional Powder coat company near me said to get my rims p/c, it would cost about $80-90 each. So you could base your prices of that. Your prices look a little cheap.

I find powdercoat tends to make the guns look like "toys" I'm diggin' the black chrome though, i've never even heard of that until now.

Its not static.  Those are the reflective particles in "shimmer" powder coat.  If you ever seen a candy flake painted car or bike, it looks like that.

ah powder coated 98s bring back good memories. On my first 98 I had a near chrome base with a gorgeous blue top coat. Some people on here may remember it. This is the only picture I have left of it. Miss that thing.

Any Tippmann is gonna be the most common for powder coating because they won't take anodizing evenly.

You have any color that may come close to matching this gold? I have a few car parts I'd like to match it, and I might have another 98c that I may be getting that maybe I'd like to do it the same color as well.

Very true.  But that doesn't mean that its limited to Tippmanns.  Just as there are certain effects you can only get with anodizing, there are also certain effects you can only get with powder coating.  I've been getting more and more high end guns.  I'm guessing just because people want something different, or it could be due to association with the automotive industry.

@ Alx2785 : its very hard for me to match a color without seeing it in person.  This is due to differences in computer monitors, brightness/contrast, etc.  But I can promise to get close.
