I said there was a new body in the oven and here it is.
I just finished rough milling out the spines and logo and cutting off the front grip. ![]() ![]() There is still a lot of work to be done here. -Fill in the side feed and drill out the vert feed. -Cut left receiver in half again and remake the quick strip plate. -Finish milling out the top cocking slot as well as drill hole in rear bolt for top cocking rod. -Strip old paint. -Bondo some edges -and a whole lot more. I feel that this body will far surpass the first one. *NOTE* I know the spines are not evenly spaced. I did that intentionally. I wanted them to get further apart as they went further down the back of the gun. I just have to shape them to make it look really nice. Edited by SnakeEyes |

Just finished the top cocking milling, rear bolt drilling, and installation.
![]() ![]() Just need to fill in the knurling on the stock cocking knob so it doesn't scratch into the top cocking slot and slow the rear bolt down. I think I am going to use some nylon/teflon shrink wrap that i have lying around. Should do the trick nicely and easily. |

you nailed it. he chose to step into the unknown, and he found a snag. but alas, he arose, gathered himself anew, and is attempting another venture of the unknown that is "pushing a Tippmann to the limit." i have had many a slips like that, i sympathize with how frustratiting it is. diligence is more powerful than Murphy. john.
