Uh, this may sound stupid, but is your velocity adjustment screw in the valve?

You will have to figure out what exactly is leaking. I know when I broke my gas line and replaced it with a new one I didn't tighten it enough and it had a leak. I tightened it up and it works fine now. Can you remember exactly where the leak was?

Hm. If it's not the velocity screw or the main o-ring, then it could be internal. I guess you can try to oil the o-ring and reassemble it, but if it still leaks, you may need to buy a new valve. They are only $30.

I'd wait for a second opinion though...

Try to get us some pics of the pieces so we can take a look at them, maybe we can spot the problem before you spend any money. If not then you can take it to the store to see if they can fix it. If even that fails, you can either send it to tippmann or buy a new valve. As DeTrevni said, leaks through the powertube are most often related to a problem with the o-ring in the valve. If you go to your local store, they may have a replacement laying around. Tank o-rings usually go for like 50 cents or less so they probably won't charge you more than that for it. If you're using CO2, it's possible that some liquid CO2 got into the valve and screwed up the o-ring which may be why you're having leaks. If the gun has always done this then it's possible (though unlikely) that there is a problem with the pin. If it is defective it may be getting stuck, leaving the valve open and allowing air to go right out the front.

Since this thread has turned into troubleshooting, I'll ask that you list your gun and all of it's upgrades so that we can more easily isolate your issue.
