Hard, cheap paintballs have never caused any deaths.

^ I could understand how it could hurt someone. the paintbullet would naturaly be slightly thicker at the point. thus making the dangers of peircing the skin easier.

in the firearms world (or whats left of it) roundballs with a rifled barrel works almost as good as the oblong bullets. almost meaning they have about the same acuracy up to a certain distance. so if you want to try rifled barrels for paintball go ahead but remember that paintball ranges are only out to about 100+ feet.
