I agree with you hway, i know its the player rather than the gun, and I know that the ion is capable of outshooting a shocker, if the player is good. But I've encountered numerous people who put no more than an aftermarket trigger on their ion and they think they can dominate anyone, I know everyone isn't like that, but the annoying attitude that seems to follow certain ion-owners around is just frustrating.

I know little about the Ion, but I know alot about the A5. Noobs like the A5 because it looks cool, and Tippmann does some good advertising.

After a few months of play however, the speedball bug starts to bite. Super fast markers, flashy tournament clothes, and the desire to play with the "big" boys.

The 98/A5/Spyder begins to seem as unfashionable as Elvis Presley's sequined jumpsuits.

The A5 is not a bad gun. It can be decently fast, decently accurate, and it is as reliable a marker as you are going to find.

I kicked my Angel to the curb. When it worked, it worked well, but when it didn't, well at least my A5 didn't have to be taken to the shop if there was a problem with it.

Anyway, tomorrow I goes to get a new Dynasty Shocker. Yosh Rau's team gun is for sale on PBnation, and my Paypal Visa is screaming from my wallet to get used. I'd like to have his gun, but I decided to pass and get a new one.
