KK.
First off: My setup = ~$150 spent. ComparableTac-8 setup = ~$350. Secondly, I know Spyder-based platforms inside and out. Third, Tac-8's are pretty much Automag based. This means when one rails the trigger (and let's face it, it happens time to time), one gets some hXc shoot-down. This doesn't happen with Spyder-based valves, even after the body is pretty much iced over. Fifthly, 10 shots and tube reloading and under-barrel CO2 > 8-shot magazine with difficult reloading. Sixthly, parts availability. Tac-8's are parts-exclusive. G1's can borrow parts from a plethora of other markers, from Kingman to CCI. Seventhly, I personally wouldn't hesitate to "operate" on this thing. I'm unfamiliar with 'Mags, and don't know what I'm doing with them. So a-there ya go! Oh, I now own a PGP. Thx. |

That's cool we just weren't getting a straight answer. I personally cannot stand the three barrel platform, it's not a pistol at that point to me, too much get's in the way.

Once we clued in on the fact that life is finite, the thought of losing it didn't scare us anymore. The end comes no matter what, all that matters is how you wanna go out, on your feet or your knees?

I'm about to give the flippin' critter away. It is so annoying...
Anyway, back to the PGP, the best thing I've ever done. I just got back from the field today. I brought 5 markers, from a Shocker to a Hurricane. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE BUGGERS BROKE DOWN. Except for my PGP. Not only did it work, it worked good. I played the best I've played in a long while with that little thing. That, and the K-Frame is pure win. <3. |
