I think I may embed a stainless steel pivot block into the right receiver to make for a smoother trigger action and to keep the set screw from digging into the receiver aluminum and possibly gumming up the trigger.
But thanks for the input. |

That's cool. What tools did you use to make it?

I used a cordless drill with various bits, a jig saw for roughing out the trigger shape, Dremel for smoothing everything out and routing out the slider channel, and a 6-32 tap for putting in the set screws. I also used Loctite 242 (the blue stuff) for locking the setscrews in place and then oiled the whole deal up. |

You could drill and tap the part of the sear that touches the trigger, but it'd be hard to adjust... imaigne it though.

thanks snake, i was just gonna ask you what sizes you used for the tap. Great mod again, I think i'm gonna make my own trigger now. I got some inspiration from your picts, and yes, you get the credit when i get around to doing it. :) |

Just remember to use Loctite 222 or 242 (purple or blue) on the set screws or you could run the problem of the set screws walking themselves loose. It's pretty annoying when you get all your settings dialed in and then go shooting and screw everything up.
