Wolverine, I think you should mod a clip into that side-handle, and add a solid-stock, that would make it look relatively similar to a Sterling. My 2 cents. |

The ABS plastic shroud has a two inch inside diameter and is cut to 9 3/8 inches in length. The bipod is actually mounted to the ABS shroud. The mount for the Harris bipod uses the original sling mounting hardware that came with the bipod, but since I could not find a rifle sling retainer that did not use a wood screw I had to custom make my own out of a aluminum concrete bolt. The holes in the shroud were cut with a 7/8" spade bit and cleaned up with a dremel. The side handle is a fully functional 8 stage expansion chamber. I've thought about doing a clip over it, but the expansion chamber I have is too large to fit inside and for comfort purposes I like the round x-chamber. The picture was taken shortly after I finished the marker and I hadn't removed the stock ASA for testing purposes. The stock ASA has since been removed. A solid stock would defeat the purpose that this marker was intended for. If you notice the original verticle grip handle has been removed. The gas line has now been shortened to run directly into the ASA, no loop, and is now only 3 inches long. By doing this I have nothing on the bottom of the marker allowing me to get flat on the ground. The original Sten and Sterling had wire stocks and I haven't figured out how to make one yet.
