How does the judging work exactly...

Do the judges choose the top five guns...and then everyone votes for their favorite?

And, its not photoshopped. The light in everything is comming from the same direction... i think.

That's St. Augustine (I think) grass. It looks like that. His guns are always better than everyone elses, they aren't fake now and they never were. The background looks fine.

Some people actually have good cameras and the skills necessary to take pics that don't look like crap.

I use two cameras, both Canon SLT's. One is an EOS 10D at 6.3 mp and
the
other is a Rebel XT at 8 mp. I work for a daily newspaper and do a lot of
photography. I also use Photoshop everyday at work. But nothing is
Photoshopped in the photo except for color enhancement and
sharpening.

Thanks hybrid-sniper. it is St. Augustine grass and it does look like that.

My guns aren't better than anyone else's, they're just painted a base coat
of
flat black that makes then look "smoother" because the paint is all the
same
color and texture all over the gun. Each paintjob usually takes about 2
hours.

Here's one i just finished "redesigning." Not a new gun, just redone. I just
completed the paint.

umm one of the judges quit, and noone wanted the spot, so there are only four.
