We evolved and crawled out of the woods long ago.  There's a reason people start in the woods, and THEN start playing speedball.  As for us not being any good....I'd step onto the field with 95% of any "woodsball-only" player, and be confident that I'd crush them.

Actually u got it backwards idiot.. Most people start in speedball (especially when young) and then evolve into woodsball.  Sometimes because of age, sometimes because of preference)  but either way that's more the norm.

hey i was in padre last week. crazy times. And i halfway agree with you about the milsim guns. I dont like paintball markers that look like real guns. ive been playing this game for a long time, and the only people that had those milsim guns were homeade and they were only used in scenario games. I remember when they first came out with those crappy M16 lookalikes available to the public and i was not happy bout that. I mean back then we were trying really hard to seperate ourselves from the stereotype that all paintballers are crazy paramilitary wackos. Those guns made it harder. 

I do like all the new guns that have the ability to make it look more tactical per se woodsball...but all those markers that look identical to an actual firearm....i mean its paintball, not airsoft....but whatever paintball has changed so much over the years, and people's opinons of paintballers is better nowadays so i guess it doesnt even matter. i suppose i still hold a grudge.

Hehe, he said gumpy.  Anyway, speedball is ok, but I prefer woodsball, and the only thing about milsims that I don't like is that they make other people in our community think we are all carrying around M16's and going out to our backyards and shooting each other with them.  Old man with Alzheimers + reckless kids with real gun look-alikes = Cops/SWAT/National Guard.  lol

ok...if ur talkin about milsim thats diff then woodsball...woodsball is paintball in the woods milsim is a scenario game usually played in the woods...speedball is played in a close range field so a backyard can go either way depending on ur backyard...and yes there are people who love there speedball markers but there are more tippmann owners here, i think...and ur statement on not stating whos side is better is so true cuz its all opinion and i think to love paintball u havta love playing anywhere under and circumstances just as long as its paintball
