*sigh* and I get beated to the draw by another one.
I was actually working on a mod almost exactly like that (moving the trigger forward) on my 98. |

To Answer Some Of Your Questions..... My A5 is not an original, This one is by Jefangel (link). Those of you who dont like the way it looks don't apritiate simplicity. For my the buty of this gun lies in it's practicality and simplicity. It really doesn't have anything extra on it. The botom (green) frame is down to the bear basics. Yes, Jefangel's gun is more streemlined and maybe a little more ergonomic. But in the end both our guns are the same in basic design (Bullpup) and prform the same function. Mine is just simpler and was much easyer to build. A Bullpup is a design where the receiver is also the stock. yes, some definitions refer to the magazine, but the magazine is inserted into the receiver which also contains the main mechanism. The P90 and the Steyer AUGwhere are my mind but they didnt influence my design exept for being Bullpup guns. Also I have fired the P90, Steyer, and a lot of other guns in full auto and I'll have to say that the P90 is very impressive: it has very light recoil, amazing cyclic rate and almost no muzle climb. The Barrel is covered with pice of camo cloth. it will be easy to clean after every game so im keeping it on. Im considering adding a set if ruber grip sides from a Tippmann98 and maybe a trigger guard but only after I play a game. Im paying more attention to preacticality ratehrthen looks. THe color patern is staying the same. the stock is OD green and the gun is black. the Colors might not really flow but they are simple and practical. And because moat of it will be tucked in agenst my shoulder and covered by my arm the colors dont really matter. I got a few pices of platic about 18in/6in/1in at a store that makes cabinets and shelves. Home Depot might have what you want. Another member asked me for the breakdown of the Qloader mount. I'm going to make anotherpoast of a How-To make your own A5 Qlaoder mount with out any majer permonent changes to the gun frame. Also anyone who wants to try to make their own...pelase be my guest and let me kow how it works out...id be happy to make a diagram of the way i did it. I'm also considering making another one or two stock-grips with e-grips built in....how much would you guys pay for it considering the amount of work and the egrip price?
Thank you for all the responce and keep them comming id be glad to help if anyone tryes this for them selves. If you have specific questions you can PM me...its easyer to aswer them on an individual basis. |
