Look, you dont have to agree with the way I play. Really, I dont care.

Besides, the fact that I just bought my A-5 last month and I am still figuring it all out is none of your concern. I've been playing paintball since I was a kid.  Pumps and tippys are all I've ever used.

I play pick-up games, scenerio, and woodsball.  I have no team and I dont need one. I have a good group of guys I go out and play with at our local field almost every weekend and I go to bigger games every once in a while.

I have developed and adapted my own style of play that I like to use. You, very obviously, have your own way you like to do things.  So, enough about yourself already.  If I played a game of paintball with you you would be fine.  I am a team player and I always collaberate with whoever is put with me on my team.  Your probably trying to paint the picture that I am guy that is stuck up and likes to go off on his own all the time but its not true.  I just a guy like you who likes to play paintball and I'm just sharing the way I do things.

To add one more thing, it has been proven that the full auto mod can work with a Qloader.  Which is what I intend to do with my other 98.

I'm just gonna leave it like that, because you seem to have fun doing whatever it is that you do.  That's what paintball's all about anyway.  You have your style, so go have a great time with it.  I'll go about my business with mine.

just went to dictionary.com and guess what it says
about sniper.....One who shoots at other people from
a concealed place......therefore there IS sniping in
paintball...Hell you could snipe with a rubber band
gun as long as it is in a concealed place....people
always say there is no sniping in paintball because
there not accurate enough....does it say One who
shoots at other people from a concealed place with
an accurate gun??? No it says with a gun so guess
what there is sniping in paintball and you can just

Personally I like the gun quite a bit. However I'm not a huge fan of remotes, ever consider running a vertical 4oz tank?

I often play with a 45round hopper and 9oz for mobility.
Your tube set up looks just about jam proof, unlike my 45round hopper.

For the tool that's trying to turn this into a sniper thread and busting out dictionary definitions, search for other sniper threads and see how well the dictionary definition holds up. Besides, when people talk about a paintball sniper, that's not what they mean. They mean they try to play the role of a military sniper. Trying to prove or disprove the feasability of that style of play is impossible using a different definition than the useage you're debating.

Thanks for the comment.

I am currently considering cutting off the foregrip and running a CO2 bottle vertically using some spare ASA parts I dug up.  I really like the setup on my A-5 using the stock vertical threads so I'm thinking about it.

Please dont add the the idiotic sniper comments plz.

It looks great man, i love the ups

but forgive me for pissing on the fire, but why do people camo their guns with desert colers, iv never heard of paintball being played in the desert before. i just dont get why people do this in a wooded playing area.

but dont get me wrong, i love what you did to it haha, its good that u support the combined arms style of play also, woodsball needs more of these types of players.

Ditto; however,if I were you, I would also consider the following options:
  • Get the vertical adapter, hang a good x-chamber off of it, then attach a small (4-6 oz) co2 bottle
    • This would provide improved ergonomics by keeping the tank from being an impediment when you had to fire from close to the ground
    • A six oz tank would be less likely to overpressurize and blow out the disc in warmer weather play than a 4 oz
  • Or, you could visit one of the sites that cater to stock class/pump players and find one of the stocks that has an intergral ASA for mounting the tank under the stock
    • You could probably use it as a guide for modifying your stock
P.S.  I award you a happy-clappy for your patience/maturity in dealing with Hashi-what's-his-face.  I had the impression he was working very hard to start a flame-fest with you and you handled it well.

actually I wasnt trying to turn this into a sniper thread! I just get so sick of people saying theres no sniping in paintball so I was trying to STOP this thread from becoming a sniper one

Here's something I made in August:

Holds about 13 and is still prone to jamming. I've only used it once though. I have another tube that holds 18 and another that holds 23.

I was gonna put a pump kit on it but I figured I'd rather sell it and save for a Carter.

Not tryin to say it's a bad idea, but I just see something wrong with a tank running vertical, like breaking it off at the valve should you trip, or dive, or whatever... not to say it couldn't happen with where it was, but it just seems it would happen easier to a vertical, I may be wrong though...
