I have a flatline and it shoots extreemly accurately. i dunno why some people have problems with them. maybe i just got lucky. but mine adds both a LOT of distance and waaay more accuracy to my shots. *Heres a stock you might should look at if your going for a barrett look: Its shaped much more like the stock on barrett rifles than the one you currently have on. |

tippmannxtremz- Better statement there than the one you made earlier
about it 'launching balls above and beyond' than the flatline. However, the reduced accuracy of the flatline doesn't remove it's viability in a game. Your grouping may be bigger but, you can compensate by shooting more paint, which sucks for $ but, if you do it, you'll eliminate them before they get close enough to eliminate you. In most games using one, even if I don't hit them, I can pin somebody down before they get close enough to hit me. This slows their advance, giving the rest of my team more time to manuever. All I have to do is keep my eyes open for folks trying to flank me. If they start to get too close, back up, rinse and repeat. But, don't get too high and mighty about the 'micro-polished' marketing hype of OPSGEAR (or any other company). Your barrel may be excellent in it's quality of construction but, most name brand barrels (J&J, S.P., Stiffi,) that can be bought for more than a few dollars less are just as well made, and will perform the same, provided the paint is properly matched to the barrels. Oh, and I'm fairly certain that an 18" barrel is less gas-efficient than a 12" barrel. Tippmann89c- If your statement is true, one or two things applies: 1. You have the only barrel that can somehow bypass the limitations inherent to all paintballs (seams and non-perfect spheres). 2. Or it's your perception that the barrel performs as good as name brand barrels. This would be true if you're not doing objective tests (bench testing under the same wind conditions, same gun, and properly matched paint, at distances greater than 80ft). Perception is one thing, reality can be another thing altogether. Edited by UV Halo |

Lucky duck. They're illegal to own/buy here in CA unless you are some kind of special. I would love to hold one. |

If your velocity is set right, the flatline will be very accurate. I use a flatline, and would never go to anything else. I have used other barrels before, and found they lack compared to the flatline. UV Halo's statement was right on as well. Cool gun though. Speedballers aim????

Speedballer's aim is just lookin down the side of the barrel since all speedball guns are vertical feed. |
