"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

The days of the C-rat can on the manifold cooking, or the exploding early MRE's on manifolds making a bean and weinie stench for a few days as you drive along, still hungry, are fond memories. Soldiers are known to improvise, so no surprise.
The MG-3 the son of the MG-42, which in WW2 as a comman cooker for the Wehrmacht. Several books written by Soldats of the Wehrmacht in Russia stated how they boiled water with 300rds fired through a MG-42. Spare barrels were fired and then used to heat the troops sleeping in foxholes. In Alaska the M-60 spare barrel after firing 100-200 blanks was a good sleeping bag heater, kept the feet toasty. |

I knew OS would have an interesting story.
An ex girlfriends dad was a jailguard and one point in his life, and told me prisoners would sometimes cook grilled cheese on the oldschool heaters.

How about C-4 pinched and rolled into a marble sized ball and used to heat ration cans. Could heat my 'Ham and Mutha's' (Ham and Limas) and heat my water for coffee. Just don't stomp on it to put it out.
We used to break apart a claymore before we crossed the wire for the C-4, could heat the squads rations for a week in the bush. |
