I think I would play more if I had VIP. I just want to be able to spawn blocks. It's difficult trying to make castles and stuff when you have to go mine everything first.

Is it just me or does the server seem messed up? I can't use any chat commands anymore (/item, /spawn, /home, /...anything) It always says "You do not have access to that command". Can this be fixed soon? It's no fun to play when I can't even use basic commands :(

Well...
I'm not sure what happened. The server console has just been barfing errors lately, but it tends to do that even when it's running well... I'll try to get it sorted out tommorow. |

So...I don't know why Bukkit went all nuts. It's not like I updated anything, and it WAS working...
But for the time being, I've set the server up to run as a 1.8 Pre-release server in creative mode. You can update your client to 1.8Pre by downloading this: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_8-pre/minecraft.jar Back up your current minecraft.jar in your My Documents/appdata/.minecraft/bin and copy in the downloaded one to update. Creative mode basically lets you give yourself any amount of any block you want. You can also double-tap space to enter flight mode, double-tap it again to stop. No monsters or damage, and it's running the old flat map. I fully expect to see some awesome stuff built. Get to it. |

It's actually so good to see the flat map again. That was PBC minecraft at some of its finest days. More will be built soon. Can get get time of day commands back at least?

If it is 1.8 of any kind I highly doubt bukkit is running. So unless Notch added time commands to the game you are SOL on that.
