What's your serial number? It's old if its serial number is under 400,000-something. Mine's 77000-something...real old school. Since the threads are slightly larger than the newer 98s I had to wrap the threads of my barrel in teflon tape to get it to fit.

I like the paintjob. I plan to get a double trigger, but I'm getting the LAPCO trigger guard.

Nice color. looks great.

Homer J is right about the barrel threads. When I bought an older barrel for my 98 Custom, the threads were slightly off. The older threads don't quite make it all around the barrel and cuts off in a straight linear direction (making the barrel a little off). The new and modified threads actually wrap around the entire barrel. When Tippmann discovered this, all of the Model 98's and 98 Customs' threads were modified. Hence, the serial numbers changed (i forgot the exact digits but i think it was the last two digits).
