I have a Bigshot. I love it. What I would suggest you do is find out what paint you will be using the most, find out what the average size is of that paint, and base what barrel you buy off of that. You can get a lot of accuracy through a good paint to bore size match. The Lapco Bigshot has a rather large bore, so, you can shoot just about any paintball through it without it breaking due to too tight of a fit, but you wont get the best accuracy unless you use slightly larger paints. Also I'd like to mention that the Lapco Bigshot I ordered was one with a bead blasted finish. I was simply amazed at the durability of it. If you want a durable finish, the bead blasting is the way to go. Once I was wiping rust/metal off of the barrel where the barrel had scratched a metal frame... No damage to the barrels finish though. Now, how many other paint jobs would do that? |

I use the 12" Bigshot and the RPS Big Balls shoot perfectly through it. Wal-Mart carries that paint.

We have a Wal-Mart here and Kremers Guns, which sells Nightmare paint. I was thinking of trying Zap out. Any of you ever try that? On the point of the barrel, do I want the ball to be as close to the diameter as possible, or further apart? Edited by Widow Maker - 06 May 2006 at 4:05am |
