You are way off buddy. Most speedballers don't spray and pray its the ignorant people like you and other woodsballers who don't know the game of speedball that think that. Speedball has to do with aiming straight, being able to see all angels and not getting blindsided. It takes just as much skill to play speedball as it does woodsball. To many woodsball people THINK they have almighty accuracy and can hit someone from 100ft away with one shot. They think just because the speedballers shoot fast they stink at paintball. Thats just stupid and ignorant to think that. My head finally stopped hurting from the stupidity of this post. Edited by ScarFace22 |

Well if your running around in a barn, ducking behind different obstacles shooting at eachother, that is really similar to speedball except on a slightly larger scale. People who love woodsball seem to have a very negative view of speedball and will deny speedball is fun at all costs. |

Look, they're both fun, its all about opinion. Ever since i started paintball with my pump i have benn playing woodsball. Its very fun. Your watching from every direction just to make sure your not the next one sniped in the head and out of the game. Now speedball is another story, there are still tactic, just in another form. Instead of being stealthy, and trying not to be spotted and sniped, they are in the form of laying down cover fire for your front men. And running as fast as you can, not caring about if you are seen or not, to get behind a bunker and avoid getting hit off the break. Do you really think it is easy to sit behind a bunker, and lay down cover fire for your front men, while also trying to eliminate the opposing teams players. So truthfully, it is totally a opinion which is better, yes speedball is a much more tournament-style sport, and woodsball is not very much fun to watch. But it is totally different when you are actually in the action. If you really wanna know which is better then you should try speedball and see what you think. Me, personally, i like speedball more now. I think it is more fast paced and gives you an adrenaline rush. Your blood is pumping and your running from bunker to bunker. But thats just me anyways. ^^^^Cause the mods havent seen it yet. Id rather play speedball. Or a fast paced woodsball game. I like action more than sneaking around. I personally belive it takes more talent, both individually and as a team, to play speedball. Why? Because speedball makes you make decisions in a much faster, tougher environment. There is nowhere to hide on a speedball field, and the other team is going to come at you hard, so you have to react faster. A local SWAT team went to a local paintball field and trained against a bunch of other speedball players in an urban setting. They got owned, big time, because the speedballers made better decisions faster and also executed more aggressive moves. Speedball players require more physical ability and more mental agility than speedball. Now woodsball is fun too, and the occasional long scenario type game is great fun, but when you sneak around a field for an hour and not see anyone, and then you finally see someone and you only get to shoot 20-30 shots at them because they are chicken and want to go hide, thats no fun. So if I play woodsball, it is usually on a field smaller than a football field. That way the games go faster and there is more contact. So bring all of your ex-military/CIA/Navy Seals/Green Berets/Martha Stewart Design team members up to play some speedball some day. We will have a "blast". Edited by TippmannBro |

i dont really care about your opinions, but i would like to tell you to go **edited** yourself and shove it because you are treating a man who served our country in REAL COMBAT with no respect. if they want to play like real combat, let them, it's called a scenario game.
edit: sorry for flying off the handle but i get emotional when people disrespect the ex military members that would be willing to die for anyone of us in real combat. Edited by s2k_1 |

What he described isn't a scenario game, dude. Last time I went to a
scenario game, we were defending a castle and I shot 2 cases of paint. |
