here is my A-5 AK-47 project. here is why it is so cool. Flatline incorporated in the front assembly, E-Grip, hand made stocks (see exploded pic, solid and Paratrooper). i use a gas thru grip ASA. the red dot is zeroed. i use it whenever the opportunity arises, like someone's head. the main "barrel" is actually a steel pipe. the flatline is the gas barrel up top. it took me about 15 hours to make. the front is made of 2 oak 1x4's cut to hold the flatline and the steel pipe. john. great, alot of fun. i used the AK. the field paint wasn't having the flatline at all. so i switched to the M-16. i was gonna use the M-1, but i forgot my remote. the perfect day to use the M-1, D-Day, and i couldn't. It was cool.

yeah, but what can you do... is your 08C grey or white?
i knew before hand the color of the field paint, and i could've snuck in big ball, but i respect Jim too much to do that. so i went along with the rules. i had fun anyway. in the end, it was us slaughtering them. talking, and shooting every once in a while. fun. john. Edited by ms2013 |

Awesome job doing the work yourself, but you'll have to complete with Thompsonshooter on who has the best in town.

Like the Flatline idea - very clever. But Thompsonshooter and Jefangel still have more authentic-looking stuff... You should check out their websites.

This looks more like a AK-47: And yes, that's an A-5. Has a fully functional stock too: |
