Does America need 4 Armed Forces’?

I think each is a necessity to the country

I think the Air Force and the Navy Can Combine into Each other.

Also I think the Marines could be a Special Branch in the Army that you can join, kinda like Rangers and special Forces...

most countries arent trying to "police" the rest of the world. and if you didn't know, the Marine Corps is a department of the Navy. each branch of the service is essential. the difference between the Marines and the Army is the Marines are meant as a fast and hard attack while the Army is meant for overwhelming force and occupation.

panda man. ur cool and all but for real. china and that other plac that shoudlnt even be called a country. 00o they have a 3million man army. so they have nothing to back it up with. only till now have they been aloud to buil new guns tanks plans every thing sences ww2.  were so far ahead of every one technicoly its crazy. like look into the new camo we have (makes the person 80% invisable) the land warrier system all that b/s its awsome and crazy. and plus if all els faile we have about 28 million more nuclear missiles then the rest of this planet. america would rather  waste this planet and every thing on it b4   we lost a war to china or any one els. and the new fighter were putting into service (y-f22) ahh no one will ever beat th u.s.

Air force is all home land, navy is mostly over seas. I don't get what combining would do. They are both necessary.

You totally missed the whole point of none. The vote is which branch can we do without...none meaning we need them all...

the air force recieves more funding because they need more funding... it costs a lot more to design a nice new aircraft than to a design a spiffy new gun. not to mention all the other classified research and development the air force does. We should keep them all and we will. although, the marines and army are very similar(at least it seems) im sure an expert can point out some vital differnces. anyhow, as koolit said we have them all, so whether they should or should not be they are staying. all of them.

1. Special Forces is a small group of elite soldiers, Delta Force, Navy S.E.A.L.s etc.

2. I think Jet Planes and Jet Plane recearch requiers a little more money.

And BTW removing an Armed Forces, thats pretty retarded. Havn't you heard of Air, Land and Sea? So we need atleast those, about Marines and Army, well Army I read was a harder task. The Marines are a combination of all that, they almost act by themselves in conflicts.

I don't think either should be removed, if your upset about funding, then make a poll "Should the Armed Forces funding be decreased"

Forgetting something important again.

You guys say that the air force has the most money because they are designing jet aircraft.

Look at the navy.

A) Think about the money that goes into building, planning, maintaining, and fueling ships. On top of that aircraft carriers.

B) The navy has the largest number of aircraft. More then the airforce. Your chances of becoming a navy pilot are a lot better than your chances of becoming a airforce pilot.

Doesn't the airforce fund NASA? I think that is where a lot of the money goes.
