The A5 is a newer gun made by tippmann then the 98c. The Ebolt only works on the 98c and can be retrofited for the model 98c. The Egrip only works on the A5.

the egrip is a sear-tripping grip frame, similar to an eSpyder, for the A-5. The ebolt is a rambolt similar to the operation of a bushmaster BKO and only works in the model 98 and 98c.

Look, the 98 Custom with an E-bolt is awesome, but it's useless without a good hopper (Halo B or Reloader B) So an A5 with E-Grip is much cheaper than an 98Custom with E-Bolt and Halo. However, the E-Bolt is a pnuematic ram that is fast and smoother than you can imagine. It doesn't have the heavy rear bolt as a consequence has little to no recoil. |

go with the a-5 because i done a little reasearch and msrp a tippmann with an e bolt is like $330-$360 and the a-5 with an egrip is like $300. Another thing is if you play in the rain and u have a a-5 with an e grip you can put the reg grip on in less than 10 mins. with the 98 and the e bolt its a lot longer and not really made to be taken out/ put in quickly

The 98c is better, just get a electro hopper. You will be spending more for that silly cyclone feed system. You know the R/T is working if when you pull the trigger it pushes it back quite fast. |

The a5 is better because of the cyclone. Get that. Unless you want to buy an ebolt and then an electronic hopper to keep up with the ebolt. The a5 is better.

Naw, the 98c is way better, you are paying a lot more for the cyclone then what it would cost you to get a electro hopper. And the cyclone looks terrible with that ugle hopper and the unit itself is huge and stuck on the side of the marker.

why would they come out with an electric A-5 hopper? The cyclone feeds as fast as the a-5 can shoot.
