pro/cons of a shocker

Well, you gotta take good care of them. If ya don't keep lubed up, they can blow o-rings inside, which is a pain when ya don't have any extras that are the right size. If you take care of it, it will take good care of you.
Good idea going with vision right away, if ya do chop, the shell usually ends up blocking the bolt from moving all the way and it won't cycle/fire at all.
Mine totally rips, I've hit 20 bps with the Dynasty board, but there is bounce then. Still, with the stock board they easily do 15+.
Any of the bolt kits for it will double your efficency, stock it's a real gas hog, about 800 off a 68/4500. It's kind of a rip off, if your gonna pay that much for a gun it should come stock with the HE bolt.
You should definantly get a Halo for this gun, so you can let it go to it's full potential.
Great thing about the Shocker's are their size. They're so little, once you're used to it, anything else just feels huge.
One real downside is that you get a lot of people on the anti-SP bandwagon who will dis your gun simply because it's made by SP. They'll say "shockers suck", when they have no real knowledge. Ask them why, and they'll tell you, "they suck, they always break", which is just not true. That's the only thing you have to get used to, annoying people. Otherwise they're great guns, when it's ripping, there's honestly no other gun I'd rather have. I traded mine for a Timmy, and it was just better then the Timmy, and I got it back. And now I'm keeping it.

The HE bolt is the Smart Parts High Efficency bolt, aka Turbocharger (but that sounds dimb). And yes, they Dynasty board goes in the grip frame, it's a whole new board with different settings, including debounce. It costs $130.

That's because the obviously doesn't know the correct way to make a link, and failed miserably trying at it. And yes, I have a Halo, notice the pic in my sig with it on my gun. There's not many boards right now, Dynasty, the new 04 vision boards that ramp, that's about it for drop ins. You can pay $350 and get a WAS board, and soon Freeflow is releasing the Anderson board.
