**First and foremost...  PLEASE ....  ONLY!  Tippmann Engineers that have actually tested this specifc issue need respond.**

Now..  There is some controversey as to how fast a Cyclone Hopper is when it comes to feeding a marker paintballs.  Wicked Air Sports has an aftermarket E-Grip that enables the A-5 to shoot 20 BPS and this is proven with thier video.  They also claim that the E-Grip can be rampped up to 30BPS.

Now the Question is...  What is the maximum capability that a Cyclone feed successfully sustatin.  I am not talking about what Tippmann will officially support... I am talking about what Tippmann Engineers know what its actually capable of.

Please I hope you will be able to answer this question.  As there has been alot of controversy surrounding what the Cyclone is actually capable of.

Thanks.

It has been said to be effective around 17.3 (or a number very close to that) balls per second, anything after that it wouldn't feed, and could turn your gun into a blender, for a faster feed rate, get a Halo B with a Victory board.  There is no real reason to need to fire that fast though, 15 balls per second should be all you need.

Well, we don't have any of those here.

But maybe us amateurs can try.  Consistent reports place the stock Cyclone at about 16-17 bps before it start skipping.  Reliable reports are hard to come by, because only a finely tuned/tweaked RT will shoot fast enough to challenge the Cyclone - at least until now with the WAS board.

Some members have reported gaining an additional 2-3 bps by adding QEVs to the Cyclone, which is a relatively easy mod.
