1.5 hours I shall be heading down to the Marine Corps recruiting center
in Lansing Michigan to take my physical. As long as I pass, my next
post will be as a Marine. Im going to be in the reserves for 6 years,
as a bridge builder. I learn how to build and blow up bridges, and then
go tell other people how to do it. Cant be a bad job, I love building
and blowing stuff up.

the military isnt my thing. i mean, its cool and all (like movies and games, which im sure the real deal is nothing like...) but im not really disciplined and have the stamina of a dead pig. |

That won't be happening for another 2 years or so... training in boot camp is 3 months, then MOS takes about a year and finally the last bit takes about 7 months... |

^ Ha. Um, no.
Im 17, almost 18 actually. Now an update. I officially passed the physical. Swore in 30 minutes after I was done. My boot camp date is June 26th, shipping to San Diego. Physicals took FOREVER. I got there at 5 am, didnt get done till 1030. But Im in, and it was the best choice I ever made. Semper Fi. |

san diego... my friend was there... although he's on his 2nd tour in
iraq now. he loved it in san diego... learned how to surf and had
a lot of fun he said.

You should watch full metal jacket in case you have to take a pop quiz over anything when you get there. |
