Yes, you will waste it if you don't use a torch lighter.
Water pipes are not necessary. No not try to roll a joint though.

Make sure you hold the smoke in your mouth for 30 seconds before blowing out. This is essensial. You will know if you are going to be halluciating or if it is just a body high 10 seconds after you blow it out.

What I did the last time (which was months ago because I may never do it again) is smoke it and breathe it in quickly and deep. Count for 30 seconds in your head and as you do this, put the pipe or lighter down. At 20 seconds, lie down in a fairly dark room on somethign comfy. At 30 seconds, blow it out. It will probably take complete effect right away.

You say you will waste it if you don't use a torch like it is some godly lighting mechanism. Regular lighters work just fine. All I am saying is don't go running out to a store and spend 5 bucks on a torch lighter just to smoke it.


P.S Real men get it from the plant and eat it

I managed to get it to work with a normal lighter. I used a gravity bong with a very large screen so it could draw a lot of air and pack a huge load, the leaves are pretty dry so you have to burn a crapload of it but it did burn white-hot. I split two back to back 2 liter hits of the smoke that looked like chocolate milk with my sister(me taking most of them since I have better lung capacity) She immediately ran upstairs and freaked out, then cam back down, walked out the front door, ran to the back door and came back in to "make sure the doors still worked". I was told of this story later since I tripped balls. I felt like the hand of god slapped me out of known existence an into the macro-verse(to borrow a term from Stephen King's IT, the ritual of Chud was definitely trippy) where I landed in a smooth, endless blue lake, then Godzilla-sized sea hags erupted from it and began laughing at me(I'm guessing this was how my brain interpreted my sister's crazy punk friends) and then found myself falling up a tree and tried to grab branches to stop myself. About then I snapped out of it to discover that I was still standing by the sink where I'd had the gravity bong resting, my sister's friends were still laughing, and I was clutching the handles of the knives on the rack which I had thought were tree branches.

But yeah, use a waterpipe and a torch lighter. I'd tried the gravity bong loads before and had to ghetto-rig a tinfoil screen that was perfect for airflow. I might try it again in a controlled environment using the extract, although I suspect it would be hard to clean the nasty-smelling residue out of a glass pipe as I don't know if an alcohol bath would remove it. Smoke it with a friend, or failing that, do it in a padded room. I've known people who've tried to climb out windows.

Yes, it is. You are wasting your stuff without a torch. It will not reach the temp required to activate it. Sure, you can make it work without a torch but why would you? It takes twich as much stuff to get the same effects as from a bic.

Eating actually does work but barely at all. It tastes nasty and does nothing more than a body high plus it won't activate for hours.

Like glassjaw said, the main method if you are actually willing to stick that crap in your mouth is to do it under your tongue. It's called a quid but I've never gotten it to work well.


This makes me miss the 36 grams I bought last year.

I am seriously considering posting my story just for the fun of reliving it.

I've let it sit under my tongue for almost half an hour and barely got a body high. If you want to trip balls and not waste it use the approved methods. The body high sucks and just made me angry and get cold sweats. 

This is not my good story but it is all I have time for for now.

My very first time actually doing it, I only got a body high but it was super intense.

I was getting sucked to the ground and I couldn't do anything but laugh. It was nowhere close to the real effects though.
