Though I expect a news story of lawsuit against the police department soon.

Crazy guy stomping an innocent child on the side of the road in the middle of some country/farm area during the night. Sounds like this came straight out of a horror movie.

Anyways, thats pretty messed up. Luckily, the cops killed him.

Why in the hell did someone not stop him before the police got there?

I'm not. It would have been better to throw him in jail, because the other inmates would tear him apart for what he did. You've seen what they do to child molesters, I would have liked to see what they would've come up with to punish this guy.

Yea, that guy would have been Big Al's butt buddy for the rest of his life.

Still, I don't get how 2-3 car loads of people couldn't stop him. I'm sure he was goin nuts, but 2 or 3 guys should have been able to at least get him off the kid.

How old were the people who attempted to stop him? Someone doing something like that to a child requires as much force as you can administer in as short of an amount of time as possible. Forget trying to pull him off, kick the $#!+ out of him, gouge his eyes, club him with a rock, etc, until he stops. I'm sure someone could have got to a tire iron before the police arrived, although the child was probably dead long before that. Damn.
