Snape is well cast. Alan Rickman is awesome, even if some director cuts most of his scenes out of a movie. The next one has him as a fairly central character. He's in the freakin' title.

The original Dumbledore was a far better choice. Since he died this new guy just doesn't play it like the character reads.

They might not be the best actors. Even on the latest movie, i still think it can be corny at points, but it can be hard to give a good performance for what they are trying to portray. If you watch the latest movie with the very first movie, you can tell a huge difference in how well they act.

I can see this director screwing Alan Rickman out of screen time.

It'll get all the way through with no Snape at all, and then they realize who the Half-Blood Prince is and it cuts to three seconds of Snape on the roof with Dumbledore. ::BLAM!:: Cut away, no more Snape.

anywho, very few, if any, movies can compare to the books. they just can't.
