I'm confused at that middle "or."
Was it to set apart two different recipes, or can you substitute the vinegar for the mustard? Honestly curious, this sounds rather good. I love mustard-based BBQ sauces and rubs.

Good catch. It makes more sense now. I'm considering trying one of these on chicken. I've got some chicken thighs in the freezer with no real plan in mind.
