Ken at K&P Customs gave me an excellent price on the powdercoating and modification. Shoot him an e-mail and see if he'll quote you a price. You might be pleasently surprized!

I could, but just so you know it looks just like the left side without the "TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM" and with the addition of 2 valve screws. This is a true centerfeed 98. It takes standard Impulse feednecks.

N00B QUESTION Why is a centerfeed important, is it to feed faster, balance gun, all of the above? I like the sidefeed so I can see down the gun if I want.

Many people tilt the gun and aim down the side. With the hopper above your gun it never sticks out the side of a bunker so your target profile is never more on one side than the other. It also provides a more reliable feed line for the paintballs into the breech and it does balance better. Hey, whatever works for you. If you are not happy with something, change it! In case anyone wanted to know:
The feed tube was welded to the right side. When the two halves are together it is almost seemless as you can see from the second photo.

It is hard to appreciate the fade until you see it in person. It is a mirror black to matte cast iron. It really is beautiful.

I haven't heard much good about the A+ Neck, but it looks nice.
Gun comes together very nicely however.
