Weekly Windows Won’t Work Thread.

When I try to boot my Windows partition it stays on the splash screen.  It doesn't freeze - the little bar at the bottom keep scrolling across, but it won't load.  I held the power button to shut it down and restarted in safe mode where I ran Spybot, Adaware and Avast.  Spybot found 50 things, adaware found three and avast found one, but it still won't boot.  Any suggestions?

If You don't click the "Send Error Report" pop-up button Microsoft won't know there is a problem and won't be able to fix that error (can't type rest with straight face :)

Before I saw this, I just tried to boot and selected the option that said "use last known good configuration".  I realize that that should have been my first option, but as it has never worked for me before, I didn't try.  Alas, it worked this time.

If it does it again though, I will definitely try that though, Darur.  Thanks.
